Hands for Healing Equine is a heart-centered haven dedicated to supporting those who give and those who seek healing. With the help of our equine companions, we create transformative experiences that nurture resilience, foster inner peace, and help individuals and groups rediscover harmony within themselves and the world around them.
Our certified equine therapists lead a variety of programs designed to empower and heal individuals through meaningful interaction with horses. We offer small group sessions that foster teamwork and communication, organizational programs that build confidence and structure, leadership initiatives that cultivate responsibility and self-awareness, and specialized veteran programs that provide emotional support and rehabilitation.
Autumn
Meet Autumn, our rare and remarkable 12-year-old Hinny! Rescued in 2018, she’s spent years bringing comfort and joy to everyone she meets.
Hinnies are celebrated for their resilience, sure-footedness, and calm nature, and Autumn embodies all these traits. She’s a compassionate therapy partner, always present and empathetic—whether working with groups or individuals, often alongside her best friend Poe.

Momma
Meet Momma, our beautiful 11-year-old standardbred! With a history as a carriage racing horse and even as a mom herself, Momma is the picture of versatility and grace.
